I have it on good authority that our pressure on Carter’s is beginning to have the desired effect.

Leah Segedie of Mamavation has an official meeting with Children’s Healthcare Of Atlanta tomorrow, so let’s send her into that meeting with a little extra oomph by getting Carter’s to beg CHOA to get these obnoxious bastards off their back.

Thanks to to the intuitive nature of corporate email naming structures, I have acquired the email addresses for eight members of Carter’s leadership team.

I sent a test email titled “ENLARGE YOUR PENIS WITH PENIS PILLS!!!‏” and not a single email bounced back, so we are set.

So today I need each and every one of you to do a single thing to push them over the edge. Copy the following nine email addresses and send them an email. You don’t need to write a letter, as I did, because odds are they aren’t going to read it. Just put something in the subject line that references why you’re emailing them, such as, “Carter’s, please stop supporting Strong4Life.”

If you want to write an email in order to appeal to their humanity, by all means go for it. But just as we did with our Big, Fat Moneybomb, we’re looking for a show of force, not necessarily any individual conversions. The point is to make ourselves a big, fat nuisance so that they will use their position of authority to help us bring an end to the campaign.

Whichever approach you decide to use, though, make sure you are POLITE and RESPECTFUL, as Carter’s is not responsible for the ads directly, but they are in a major position help us out.

So, here they are and have at:

Do you have titles for these individuals as well? I’m not cool with emailing folks I don’t know without knowing their position.

Done (I just sent emails with the subject line you suggested and said “Please, this campaign shames and bullies kids.” and signed my name).

I know this is off topic, but I wanted to share this story with you. I was just talking to some fat hating trolls on a board. It’s almost depressing how, it’s easy to troll them back, and that they really will never understand. It’s like “fat is genetic” “durrr..” “you can’t tell anyone’s health by seeing how fat they are, just the extent of your fat bias.” “you’re self-righteous, using your big words and talking all smart. My brain hurts.”

I really want to know, what’s the point of trying to educate, when these people are so non receptive? Yes, I know they’re trolls, and they think people on the internet are just their playthings. This isn’t even about them bullying, because that goes without saying it’s a hallmark of their behavior. Just simply mentioning not all fat people aren’t the stereotype, well nobody in this particular thread said anything bad about fat people. They just mentioned about the obesity booga booga in the news, and since I believe everything the media spoon feeds to me it must be true.

Should I just realize that these people are a lost cause and just not bother? I’m not going to try reasoning with them again anyways, as reason is a alien language to them. I just feel sad that they’ll always be this way. Maybe it’s being a teenager, it’s not even my personally being upset you see. I want people to be happy, with bullies it’s like they’re hating you for forcing them to try and be happy. Why would someone enjoy being miserable?
